Teeth whitening

People often come to us after trying a tooth whitening kit purchased from a drugstore and feeling disappointed with the results. Only dentists can access ingredients like carbamide peroxide to bleach several layers of tooth enamel.

Once you decide to go with teeth whitening, the next step is for Dr Rizqualla to take impressions of your teeth and gums. Our laboratory technicians use these impressions to create customized trays for your top and bottom rows of teeth. You remain seated in the dental chair for 30 to 60 minutes while the ingredients in each tray brighten your teeth. The results of a single session typically last for several months.

Veneers

Also referred to as porcelain or dental veneers, a veneer is a thin piece of ceramic that adheres to the front of a tooth to disguise a minor cosmetic issue. Deep staining, cracks, and chips are all common issues that patients would like to cover. Veneers are also a popular solution for patients who have a larger-than-normal gap between their two front teeth.

Dr. Rizqualla needs to remove up to one-eighth of a millimeter of enamel from your tooth before placing the veneer. Removing the enamel ensures that the treated tooth blends in with your other teeth and can support the dental cement that keeps the veneer in place.

Dental bonding

Dental bonding is an economical way to disguise a cracked or misshapen tooth. Dr. Rizqualla manipulates the bonding material on your tooth into the desired shape, allowing the materials to harden. The bonding material is tooth-colored to avoid calling attention to your treated tooth.
